Having been appointed as accountants and tax advisors for R Tindall Fabricators since 2009, LWA were delighted to be asked to also take on the payroll service required by the rapidly growing manufacturing business in 2012.

A market-leading company, R Tindall Fabricators has been supplying the commercial fire and mechanical services sectors across the UK and Europe since 1969. Based in Oldham, the business now has a turnover in excess of £12million with 50 employees at any one time, working from a 41,000 square foot facility.

Joe Yearn took over the company in a Management Buy Out from his father Barry in 2017. In the same year, LWA also expanded our Payroll Services team with the appointment of Angela Kitson who took over the day-to-day management of R Tindall Fabricators’ payroll whilst supporting LWA’s Payroll Services Manager, Sara Bishop - the partnership has gone from strength to strength since, with the weekly payroll for over 50 employees running like clockwork.

Angela works closely with both Joe Yearn and Helen Lee - Administration & Accounts Manager at R Tindall Fabricators. The fantastic communication and advance planning between both parties ensures that staff timesheets and information is provided so that every single employee gets paid every Thursday. In addition, LWA manage the administration of the company’s employee pension payments, auto-enrolment and national insurance contribution obligations, as well as the banking of the payroll.

Even the seasonal challenges of Bank Holidays and the Christmas period where both businesses shut down, are managed seamlessly, with staff wages being received into their bank accounts on time remains completely unaffected. As is the supply and demand nature of manufacturing, R Tindall Fabricators also experience peaks and troughs of varying staff levels - at the height of the season, LWA can be successfully processing up to 78 weekly payrolls.
